With a span of more than 145cm, Bernard Schottlander’s elongated Mantis ceiling lamp is perfect to light a low table or conversational grouping. Suggested by the sculptures of Alexander Calder, the German-born midcentury designer conceived his monochromatic Mantis series with its distinctive sculptural shade in spun aluminum. Both the long arm and the tilting lamp head are adjustable, with the easy functionality prized by the designer.
